Thomasville History Center

Thomasville History Center is at 725 N. Dawson St. Museum exhibits depict the area's history and document the transformation of the county's antebellum cotton plantations into quail-hunting plantations. The museum consists of eight historic buildings, including an 1870 log house and storage shed, the 1877 Joyner House, the 1896 Ewart bowling alley, the 1893 Metcalfe Courthouse, the 1910 Flowers Playhouse and the 1923 Flowers-Roberts house and its 1940s garage.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
