Lake Lanier Islands

Lake Lanier Islands, n.w. off SR 365, were formed when the waters of Lake Sidney Lanier failed to cover a cluster of forested hilltops. The four islands are connected to the mainland by causeways and each offers different recreational facilities. Facilities and amenities include a resort and rental units, campgrounds, tennis courts, boat rentals, a golf course and restaurants. LanierWorld offers a beach and water park activities. Also available are horseback riding, fishing, sailing, hiking and zipline tours.
