Monument to the Poets of Georgia

Monument to the Poets of Georgia, in the 700 block of Greene St., is a marble monument honoring 19th-century Southern poets Sidney Lanier, a native of Macon, James R. Randall and Father Abram Ryan who each lived in Augusta for a while, and Paul Hamilton Hayne who lived in Grovetown and is buried in Augusta.
