University of Georgia

University of Georgia campus can be entered from Broad St. through a mid-19th-century arch that symbolizes the state seal of Georgia. Founded in 1785, it was the nation's first state-chartered university. Visitors can stroll the 615-acre campus and view historic structures, many of which were built before 1850. The Collegiate Tennis Hall of Fame, at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex, pays tribute to collegiate tennis players and is open during tennis matches.

Guided tours of the campus are offered Mon.-Sat. by reservation.
