McLarty Treasure Museum

McLarty Treasure Museum, 13 mi. n. on SR A1A, is at the s. end of Sebastian Inlet State Park at 13180 SR A1A. The museum's historical displays include artifacts and a diorama of the 1715 Spanish Plate Fleet and the shipwreck salvors' camp, including salvage materials. "The Queens Jewels and the 1715 Fleet," an A&E Channel production, tells the story of the ill-fated journey that was ended by a hurricane off the Florida coast, and the ongoing salvaging operations to recover the treasure.
