Adventure Island

Adventure Island is .25 mi. n. of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay at 10001 N. McKinley Dr. (40th St.). This 30-acre tropical water park has 10 water slides, play areas, a wave pool, a lazy river and beach volleyball, all with a Key West atmosphere. Hop on a raft and go hurtling through 560 feet of twists and turns on the 70-foot-high Colossal Curl. Visitors can drift, slide and ride their way around splashing fun that includes the tunnel raft ride Wahoo Run; a children's water playground; and Riptide, a 55-foot-tall, four-lane racing mat slide.

Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 5 hours minimum.
