The Pier District

The Pier District is at the foot of 2nd Ave. N. The 26-acre site features a number of attractions, food places, shops, public art and recreational things to do, such as bicycling, swimming and strolling. Fishing is available from a deck built from the pyramidal 1973 pier's leftover caissons. Activities for kids include a beach, playground, splash pad, and exhibits and educational programs at the Discovery Center.

Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available.
