Babcock Ranch Eco-Tours

Babcock Ranch Eco-Tours is off I-75 exit 164 (southbound), 1 mi. n. on US 17, 15 mi. e. on SR 74, then 6 mi. s. on SR 31; or off I-75 exit 143 (northbound), 3 mi. e. on SR 78, then 9 mi. n. on SR 31, to 8000 SR 31. Visitors get a close look at panthers, alligators, snakes, birds, cattle and other native fauna and flora during the 1.5-hour swamp buggy tours through a working cattle ranch and the surrounding cypress swamp and other ecosystems. A museum with exhibits, a wildlife display and hiking trails also are available.
