WonderWorks is .8 mi. n. of SR 528 at 9067 International Dr. An upside-down building contains this interactive attraction, which features more than 100 hands-on exhibits and a laser tag arena. Virtual reality technology and simulations enable visitors to experience an earthquake and hurricane force winds, design and ride their own roller-coaster, explore a replica of a Mercury space capsule, play virtual sports and land a space shuttle. Also of interest is a three-story, glow-in-the-dark ropes course (height and weight restrictions apply; closed-toe shoes are required) and the 4D Motion Theater. The Outta Control Magic Comedy dinner show is offered nightly.
