Orange County Regional History Center, 65 E. Central Blvd., is housed within a restored five-story 1927 courthouse and offers permanent exhibits tracing the area's history from Native American settlement to its development as a tourist community. A Smithsonian affiliate, the center hosts biannual traveling exhibitions. Other features include a Florida Cracker-style pioneer cabin, a replica tepee from a '50s motel, a re-created Seminole Indian village, interactive displays about Florida industries and the adjacent Heritage Square park.
