Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters

Florida Keys Aquarium Encounters, 11710 Overseas Hwy., is a learning and conservation center offering hands-on exhibits, displays of marine life and educational programming. The main aquarium viewing area highlights the residents of the inter-connected coral reef and shark tanks. Also on-site is the Tide Pool Touch Tank, which houses shallow water species like starfish, the Nursery Tank and Stingray Cove, where visitors can touch stingrays. Behind-the-scenes Encounter programs, some of which include snorkeling, allow for more in-depth interaction with tropical fish, stingrays, nurse sharks and other marine animals.

Guided tours and scheduled public feedings are available with general admission.
