Lee County Manatee Park

Lee County Manatee Park, 10901 SR 80, features observation platforms on a canal where manatees sometimes congregate during cooler winter months. Prime viewing season usually extends November through March; phone ahead for recorded updates. A boardwalk and trail system wind through native plant habitats and a butterfly garden. Interpretive naturalists are available to answer questions. Kayak rentals are available; guided kayak tours are offered by advance reservation.
