Crystal River Preserve State Park

Crystal River Preserve State Park, 2 mi. n. on US 19 to 3266 N. Sailboat Ave., covers 20 miles along the Gulf Coast and features several nature trails, a 9-mile loop bicycle trail, a day-use fishing area and a visitor center with aquariums, reptile exhibits and dioramas. A 1.5-hour heritage-eco boat tour and sunset cruise also are available; arrive early for tours as they sell out quickly.

Guided tours are available. Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
