Boca Raton History Museum

Boca Raton History Museum, 71 N. Federal Hwy. at Palmetto Park Rd., is housed in the restored 1927 town hall, noted for its gilded dome. The Mediterranean Revival-style building has such architectural features as cypress millwork, a pecky cypress ceiling and fanlight windows. Furnishings and artifacts that belonged to local architect Addison Mizner are on display. Changing history exhibits are shown regularly. Area history tours also are offered.
