Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum is at 295 West Ave. via I-95 exit 14 northbound or exit 15 southbound. Built by Civil War financier LeGrand Lockwood, the partially restored 62-room Second Empire chateau contains stenciled walls, inlaid woodwork and a rotunda with a skylight.
