White Memorial Foundation

White Memorial Foundation is 2 mi. s.w. on US 202 to 80 Whitehall Rd. The 4,000-acre wildlife sanctuary includes about half of the shoreline of Bantam Lake, the Bantam River, streams and ponds, a mile-long boardwalk and 35 miles of trails for cross-country skiing, hiking and horseback riding (equipment is not available).

The White Memorial Conservation Center Museum explains the refuge's natural features and wildlife.

Guided tours and nature programs are available upon request.

Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
