Tapping Reeve House and Law School

Tapping Reeve House and Law School is at 82 South St. The renovated house and law school feature an exhibition about America's first school of law and the contributions of its many graduates to the development of politics, law, business and legal education in early 19th-century America. The school began in 1774 with the tutelage of a single student and evolved into an institution that graduated some 1,100 attorneys before it closed in 1833.
