Montrose County Historical Museum

Montrose County Historical Museum, at Main St. and Rio Grande Ave. in the 1912 D&RG Depot building, displays dolls, toys, quilts, clothing, railroad and mining memorabilia, a stage coach, a Union Pacific caboose and farm equipment from the 18th and 19th centuries. Black and white photographs and documents chronicle town history. A furnished homesteader’s cabin and a cowboy cabin are on the grounds.
