Saint Mary’s Glacier

Saint Mary’s Glacier is accessible by a .7-mile hike from Fall River Rd., .75 mile n. of the ghost town of Alice, which is 12 miles n.w. via I-70 and Fall River Rd. exit 238. St. Mary’s Lake is at the foot of the glacier on the flank of James Peak.

Parking at the glacier is limited to a small pay lot, north of the glacier trailhead. No parking is permitted on Fall River Rd. or nearby subdivisions.
