The Gardens on Spring Creek

The Gardens on Spring Creek, 2145 Centre Ave., is a botanic garden that spans 12 acres. Visitors will be delighted by the many garden spaces including the Prairie Garden that features species of North American grassland plants; The Garden of Eatin’ that boasts peach, plum and sour cherry trees; and the Theme Garden’s 5 sections that host fragrant plants, roses, plants that attract hummingbirds, plants best viewed at dusk and a selection of species chosen in partnership to with the University of Colorado.

The Children’s Garden has small versions of each garden on site. It is more manageable for little ones and facilitates learning. A big hit with both the young and old is the Butterfly House. Before exploring the gardens, stop by guest services to reserve your entry time.
