Country Boy Mine

Country Boy Mine, off Wellington Rd. at 0542 French Gulch Rd., offers 45-minute guided underground tours of a late 1800s gold mine deeper than 1,000 feet, as well as mining exhibits and old buildings. Gold panning activities also are offered. A fun feature is the 55-foot-long ore chute slide. Roaming miniature donkeys add to the mining camp environment.

Hard hats are provided.
