Barney Ford House Museum

Barney Ford House Museum is at 111 E. Washington Ave. The museum depicts the life of Ford, a former slave who escaped via the Underground Railroad. His travels eventually led him to Colorado, where he became a civil rights pioneer and a successful restaurant and hotel owner. Exhibits focus on Ford and other African Americans of the era.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
