Wax Museum

Wax Museum (Museo de Cera) is at Calle Londres #6, Colonia Juárez, in the Zona Rosa area (M: Cuauhtémoc, line 1). Kids will love this museum, and it's a good choice for a family outing. There are more than 200 figures arranged in 14 themed rooms, from historical, religious and political giants to celebrities, pop stars, and cartoon and movie characters. Although there's an emphasis on those of Mexican and Latin American descent, you'll still see plenty of familiar faces. The accuracy of the likenesses ranges from pretty good (Mexican president Vicente Fox) to questionable (Frida Kahlo, Lady Gaga) to dreadful (the Beatles). Whimsical figures of Don Quixote and sidekick Sancho Panza outside the entrance make for a fun photo op.
