AAA Editor Notes
Jumex Museum (Museo Jumex) is at Av. Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra #303, next to the Soumaya Museum (M: Polanco, line 7). The three-story building housing this museum of contemporary art, despite a distinctive sawtooth roofline, lacks the Soumaya's strikingly postmodern visual impact. But the art within the Jumex (pronounced WHO-mex)—the private collection of Eugenio López, art patron and heir to the Jumex fruit juice fortune—is every bit as strong, boasting such names as Andreas Gursky, Jeff Koons and Andy Warhol. Emphasis is given to Mexican artists as well, including Gabriel Orozco and Damián Ortega. Rotating special exhibitions are also presented.

Note: The museum is located in the northern part of the city, away from the Historic Center; if you would rather not use the Metro subway system, arrange for taxi transportation from your hotel.

Food is available.
