Willow Creek-China Flat Museum

Willow Creek-China Flat Museum is at 38949 SR 299, just w. of the SR 96 jct. Historical exhibits about Humboldt and Trinity counties display vintage household items, tools, farm implements and tribal artifacts. There also are re-creations of a blacksmith shop and miner's cabin. The museum's Bigfoot exhibit has footprint casts, a collection of toy likenesses and a growing archive of evidence information. A redwood sculpture of the so-far mythical beast towers over the parking lot, and you can purchase a Bigfoot souvenir, too.
