AAA Editor Notes
Pío Pico State Historic Park, 6003 Pioneer Blvd., contains the home of Pío Pico, the last governor of California under the Mexican flag. The 1850s-1890s adobe house is furnished in period. Following restoration for earthquake damage, some portions of the floor and walls were left open to show original construction techniques.

Note: Due to budget cuts California is closing many of its state parks. This facility may be one of those sites; phone ahead for the latest information.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
