Stagecoach Inn Museum

Stagecoach Inn Museum, 51 S. Ventu Park Rd., between US 101/Ventura Frwy. and Lynn Rd., first opened in 1876 as a stopping place for travelers journeying between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. The reconstructed Monterey-style building houses Victorian furnishings, displays of Chumash artifacts and changing exhibits. The complex also includes a carriage house, pioneer house, one-room schoolhouse, an adobe and a Chumash dwelling.
