Pacific Park

Pacific Park is at 380 Santa Monica Pier. This 2-acre amusement park, opened in 1996, offers 12 rides and many midway games. Of special interest are the nine-story-tall Pacific Wheel, the world's first solar-powered Ferris wheel; the West Coaster, reputedly California's only pier coaster; and Kids Cove, an area featuring six rides for families with younger children.

Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
