San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles

San Jose Museum of Quilts & Textiles is at 520 S. First St. Exhibits at this museum explore the art, craft and history of quilts and textile-based art. Displays include historic quilts, contemporary quilts and textiles, and costumes and garments from global cultures. There is a particular emphasis on Bay Area artists who are in the forefront of the quilting and textile arts revival that began in the last half of the 20th century and continues today.
