Hiller Aviation Museum is at 601 Skyway Rd. at the San Carlos Airport. The museum chronicles Northern California's contributions to aviation history. Hanging and ground displays of restored aircraft, full-size replicas and models range from an unmanned 1869 aeroplane to a 21st-century robotic flying wing. Youngsters can climb into the cockpit of a Navy jet and a Boeing 747. Other features include interactive displays, multimedia presentations and a glass-fronted restoration workshop.
