Powerhouse Science Center

Powerhouse Science Center, 3615 Auburn Blvd., has rotating, hands-on exhibits exploring earth, space, biological, physical and geological sciences. A small live animal exhibit also is on-site. Family-oriented weekend planetarium shows focus on current night skies and encourage backyard astronomy. A wildlife pond is on the center's grounds.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
