UCR/California Museum of Photography, 3824 Main St., presents exhibitions of innovative contemporary forms, related new media and historic conservation. In addition to three floors of changing exhibitions, the museum has a permanent collection gallery with historic photographs, cameras and equipment and works by photographers such as Ansel Adams and Edweard Muybridge. Highlights include Kodak "Brownie" cameras, a daguerreotype camera dating from the 1880s and gelatin silver prints of landscapes. A community digital technology workshop also is available.
