McConnell Arboretum & Botanical Gardens

McConnell Arboretum & Botanical Gardens is accessible from Turtle Bay Exploration Park's east entrance at the north plaza of the Sundial Bridge and from the west entrance of the park off Arboretum Dr. The 200-acre arboretum features 1.5 miles of trails through an oak savanna and a riparian forest, while the 20-acre botanical gardens consist of 12 areas, including gardens representing the Mediterranean basin, California, Australia, South Africa and Chile.

Among the other gardens are an area especially for children and one devoted to medicinal plants.
