Salmon Viewing Plaza

Salmon Viewing Plaza, .1 mi. e. of I-5 exit 649 on SR 36, then 2 mi. s. on Sale Ln., is at Diversion Dam on the Sacramento River. Underwater television cameras monitor the fish ladders. There is no viewing mid-September to mid-May. The plaza has exhibits about salmon as well as camping, picnicking and boat-launching facilities.

Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
