South Coast Botanic Garden

South Coast Botanic Garden, 26300 Crenshaw Blvd., represents more than 2,500 plant species on 87 acres. Featured are semi-drought tolerant plants suitable to the Southern California landscape. A children's garden is developed around fairy-tale themes. Hiking trails meander through an alpine forest and woodland, and each year more than 200 species of birds can be spotted.
