Peralta Hacienda Historical Park

Peralta Hacienda Historical Park is at 2465 34th Ave., at jct. Coolidge Ave. and Hyde St. The 6-acre site was the headquarters of the vast Rancho San Antonio, given as a land grant to Antonio Peralta in 1820. Tours offer insight into Peralta's life as he migrated north from Mexico, and docents provide information about the cattle ranch, its upheaval during the gold rush and the vibrant Fruitvale neighborhood that grew up in its place.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
