Children's Museum of the Sierra

Children's Museum of the Sierra is e. off SR 41 (Southern Yosemite Hwy.) on SR 426 (Crane Valley Rd.), then just n. to 49269 Golden Oak Dr., Suite 104. This hands-on museum has a natural history area where young visitors can “dig” for bones; a bank with a teller's window, play money and an old-fashioned typewriter; a theater for role-playing; and an emergency services area with a child-sized fire truck and ambulance, a brass sliding pole and a 911 console simulator. Kids can dress in hospital scrubs, study X-rays and listen to hearts beating in the Teddy Bear Hospital.
