The Hamilton Field History Museum

The Hamilton Field History Museum is at 555 Hangar Ave. It is housed in a rebuilt former firehouse at Hamilton Field U.S. Air Force Base, which operated from 1935 to 1974. Exhibits and artifacts pertain to the base's history and include uniforms, pins, medals, photographs and a cockpit simulator. A library and research center contains books, posters and videos.
