William S. Hart County Park and Museum

William S. Hart County Park and Museum, 1.7 mi. n.w. of SR 14 at 24151 Newhall Ave., embraces the former home and 265-acre park of the Western movie star. Hart’s home, on a hill at the end of a winding nature trail, contains original furnishings, Western art, Native American artifacts and early Hollywood memorabilia. Exhibits at the historic 1910 Ranch House display Hart's tack and saddle collection, personal furnishings and additional Hollywood memorabilia. The park also offers a large picnic area, a barnyard animal display, numerous trails and a herd of bison.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted.
