McHenry Mansion

McHenry Mansion is at the jct. of 15th and I sts. Built in 1883 by a prominent local rancher and banker, the Victorian Italianate mansion is decorated in period to look as it did while occupied by Robert McHenry and his wife Matilda. Three rooms on the second floor reflect turn-of-the-20th-century style, a time when their son lived in the mansion. Guided tours begin at the visitors center with a DVD presentation.
