Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve

Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, 12600 N. Torrey Pines Rd., preserves the 1,750-acre natural habitat of the rare Torrey pine, which Pacific winds often twist into unusual shapes. Self-guiding tours, nature walks and a historic lodge/museum are available.

Note: Although not officially condoned, Black’s Beach, which is part of Torrey Pines State Beach, is treated by some visitors as a clothing optional area. Camping, pets, biking and picnicking are not permitted.
