Simonian Farms Old Town

Simonian Farms Old Town is at 2629 S. Clovis Ave. Family owned and operated, the business started as a fruit stand in 1901, which is now adjacent to the museum and sells farm-direct fruits and vegetables as well as local wine, honey and specialty foods. The facades of a general store, church, gas station, diner, post office, barber shop and livery stable preserve the history of the Central Valley, and the museum contains a time line depicting regional history. Antique tractors and farm equipment are on display outside.

Family-oriented activities include an animated Route 66 shooting gallery and gold mining. Kids can check out the many varieties of nostalgic candy, old-fashioned soda pop and Fresno State University ice cream by the scoop while parents enjoy wine tastings.

Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 45 minutes minimum.
