Sequoia Park Zoo

Sequoia Park Zoo is at 3414 W St. Established in 1907, this zoo is situated alongside Sequoia Park's 52 acres of magnificent old-growth redwoods. The Watershed Heroes exhibit features river otters, salmon, bald eagles and a Northern spotted owl. Among the rare and endangered animal residents are South American bush dogs and a herd of Chacoan peccaries, pig-like mammals that have a coat of bristly fur and a long, flexible snout. Other exhibit areas include a red panda habitat, a walk-through aviary, a barnyard and a flamingo pond.
