Blue Ox Historic Village is at 1 X St., 4 blks. n. of US 101. Visitors can learn about Victorian era craftsmanship as they watch products being made on 19th-century equipment. After a detailed introduction and demonstration, the self-guiding tour includes a full-production wood shop, a blacksmith shop, a ceramics studio, a print shop, a re-created logging skid camp, a rose garden, an aviary and a visit with farm animals.

Visitors also can observe artisans as they work.

Casual dress and low-heeled shoes are advised.

Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
