San Dieguito River Park

San Dieguito River Park has several trailhead entrances; the Sikes Adobe Historic Farmstead is at 12655 Sunset Dr. The park occupies the San Dieguito River watershed and features several interpretive trails. The reconstructed farmstead is the former home of the Sikes family, who came to the area in 1870 and prospered as wheat farmers. The interior is interpreted to reflect their life in 1881. An orchard, kitchen gardens and a reconstructed creamery also are part of the farmstead.

Interpretive tours and themed events are held as part of the Sikes Saturday Series.
