AAA Editor Notes
UC Davis Arboretum is off I-80 exit 71 (UC Davis), then n. to the central campus. The arboretum headquarters is on LaRue Rd.; the gardens also can be accessed from several campus locations.

Within this 100-acre refuge bridges connect both sides of a creek. The collections focus on plants adapted to a Mediterranean climate and feature a garden with native California plants; one with only white flowers; a home demonstration garden; a garden with heat- and drought-resistant plants; and oak and redwood groves. There are also plants native to Australia, Mexico and South Africa. Maps are available at the headquarters building.
