The Wende Museum

The Wende Museum, 10808 Culver Blvd. at the National Guard Armory building, details politics, culture and everyday life in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union 1945-1991, during the Cold War era. A variety of artifacts are featured, including artwork, household items, photos, posters, documents and fragments of the Berlin Wall. One of the galleries is dedicated to Checkpoint Charlie. Temporary exhibits also are offered.

Tours lasting 45-90 minutes cover the galleries and the archives.
