Campbell Historical Museum & The Ainsley House are at the corner of N. Central Ave. and Civic Center Dr. at 51 N. Central Ave. Campbell's rich agricultural history is depicted in the museum. Hands-on exhibits focus on the canneries that were the city's lifeblood, home life and recreation enjoyed during free time. A preliminary 5-minute videotape gives insights into the city's past.
The 1925, Tudor-style Ainsley House, just across the green, is lavishly furnished in accordance with the status of its owners, an English-born canning pioneer and his wife. Many furnishings are original to the house. A video presentation precedes the guided tour.
