Point San Luis Lighthouse is on Lighthouse Rd. and can be accessed via a van ride or a guided 3.75-mile round-trip hike on the Pecho Coast Trail. The van departs off Avila Beach Dr.; those opting for the hike should park in Port San Luis Harbor District lot. Once you reach the lighthouse, docents offer tours of this restored historic structure.

Photography is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour, 45 minutes minimum for the van lighthouse tour option and 4.25 hours for the trail hike.
