Government House and Gardens

Government House and Gardens is at 1401 Rockland Ave. Government House is the official residence of the Lieutenant Governor and the ceremonial home of all British Columbians. The grounds embrace 14.5 hectares (36 acres), including formal gardens and a rare Garry oak ecosystem. The Cary Castle Mews Interpretive Centre is a good place to explore the history of this National Historic Site.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available.
